Regular Season Round 12: Al Arabi - Kuwait 58-93

Date: December 15, 2025
An interesting game for Kuwaiti Kuwait (3-1) which played road game in Doha against 4th ranked Qatari Al Arabi (1-3). First ranked Kuwait had an easy win 93-58. The game without a history. Kuwait led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kuwait outrebounded Al Arabi 46-31 including a 40-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kuwait players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Al Arabi's players. Worth to mention a great performance of French center Joffrey Lauvergne (211-1991) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and American point guard Charlie Moore (183-1998, college: Miami, FL) who added 13 points and 10 assists during the contest. Four Kuwait players scored in double figures. Kuwait's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Abdelrahman Yahya (202-1996) with 14 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Tim Bond (201-1995, college: EMU) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Kuwait have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending Kuwaiti champion maintains first position with 3-1 record, which they share with Al Ittihad. Al Arabi lost third consecutive game. Defending Qatari champion keeps the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Sagesse and Kazma. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
